LIC Exam for AAO

Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) is one of the most prestigious exams in the insurance sector. The recruitment process of AAO under LIC exams is not conducted annually but depends on the requirement of personnel in the company.

Recently, LIC released a notification to recruit 590 eligible candidates to fill in the AAO posts.

AAO in LIC is primarily an administrative job. The job of the candidates hired in LIC AAO varies as per the department he works in.

LIC Exam Eligibility For AAO Post

The LIC exam eligibility criteria for AAO post is mentioned in the official notification of AAO recruitment exam 2019 released by the conducting body.

The LIC exam eligibility criteria for AAO 2019 exam is as mentioned below:

  1. Nationality: Any candidate who is a citizen of India.
  2. Education Qualifications: A Graduate degree in any discipline from any Government recognized University.
  3. LIC AAO Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate must be not less than 21 years and should not be more than 30 years of age. However, there is age relaxation for candidates belonging to different categories.

LIC Exam For ADO Post

LIC ADO Mains exam date is revised. Earlier the exam dates for LIC Apprentice Development Officers Mains exam was August 11, 2019, but LIC in the official notification has released the revised date of the exam i.e. September 22, 2019. 

LIC ADO is a sales administrative job. ADO job role under LIC exam requires the personnel to take responsibility for recruiting people as LIC Insurance Agents and inspecting existing policies.

LIC ADO recruitment is conducted to fill the vacancies for the post of Apprentice Development Officer.

LIC Apprentice Development Officer recruitment is not an annual process. The last notification for the post of LIC ADO was released on 1st June 2015. The recruitment was open only for the Central Zonal Office, Bhopal.

LIC Exam Eligibility Criteria For ADO

The eligibility criteria to get selected as LIC Apprentice Development Officer are as follows:

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification: A Graduate Degree of a University in India approved for the fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
  • LIC exam Age Limit and relaxation: Minimum and maximum age to be eligible for ADO exam are 21 years and 30 years as on 1st May 2019. This implies the candidates must be born not later than 1 May 1998 and not earlier than 2 May.1989.

Housing Finance Limited-HFL is a trusted and respected sister concern of Life Insurance Corporation of India having its corporate office in Mumbai.

HFL provides long term finance to individuals for purchase/construction of flat/house for residential purposes and to those engaged in the development of residential buildings to be sold by them in India.

LIC Exam DSE Post

LIC DSE full form is Direct Sales Executive. LIC annually conducts recruitment of DSE personnel for various Zonal Office of LIC purely on a contract basis for a period of three years.

LIC DSE is primarily a Marketing job. The person recruited is responsible for Procuring New Business, providing policy servicing and other related jobs from the areas allotted to them.

LIC Exam Eligibility Criteria For DSE Post

The eligibility conditions for candidates who aspire for LIC DSE job is as mentioned:

  • A Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised Government.
  • Candidates with a graduate degree or diploma in Marketing or Management will be given preference.
  • Good English and also a regional language preferably local language is desirable.

LIC Exam Age Limit- DSE Post

Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years of age and not more than 35 years of age.

Selection of the candidate for LIC DSE is made on the basis of a written test followed by an Interview.

Only the candidates who qualify the written test are called for Interview.

The written test in LIC DSE exam is of Objective Type covering the following sections.

LIC Exam FSE Post

LIC Exam- IRDA

IRDA is the acronym of Insurance Regulatory Development Authority.

IRDA is an annual all India level exam conducted by LIC for the recruitment of Insurance agents in the insurance companies. This exam is also known as LIC Agent exam.

LIC Exam Eligibility For IRDA

Candidates have to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to appear for LIC IRDA exam:

  1. Candidate must be a citizen of Indian nationality.
  2. Aspirants of LIC IRDA exam must have a passing certificate of 10+2 as the minimum academic qualification.
  3. There is no upper age limit to give IRDA exam but candidate must not be less than 18 years of age.

LIC D.O. full form is LIC Development officer. The exam is held annually mostly in the month of September.

The application form of LIC D.O. exam is published in July in employment news and the last date to register for the exam is generally the first week of August.

LIC Exam Eligibility For D.O. Post

Aspirants of LIC D.O. exam have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Academic qualification: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a Government recognized university.

Age Limit: Aspirants must neither be below 21 years of age nor above 30 years. Age relaxation is also given to candidates under reserved categories.

Nationality: Aspirants must be an Indian citizen. Also, the candidates who hold the eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

LIC Exam Syllabus And Paper Pattern D.O. Post

The LIC exam for the recruitment of Development Officer is conducted in two phases:

Phase -I: Written examination

Phase-II: Group discussion and interview

The written examination is objective type paper of 2 hours. There are 4 sections in this exam.

  1. Reasoning
  2. English language
  3. General awareness
  4. Numerical ability

Each section carries 50 questions making a total of 200 questions.

There is negative marking of (0.25) marks for each wrong attempt in the written exam of LIC D.O. examination.

Qualified candidates in the written exam are called for Group Discussion and Interview round.

Shortlisted candidates in the GD and PI round are eligible for final selection. Candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in both Phase-I and Phase-II for final selection.
