6. Practice is the key

Solve as many questions during preparation so that in the main exam, you can easily target to correctly answer 170 questions. NEET has negative marking, so extra care to be taken while answering. Solve as many sample papers and previous years’ question papers as possible, take up mock tests every day

7. Use learning aids

Make mind maps and diagrammatic representation of information for longer retention. We know that reading and remembering concepts and its timely retrieval from such vast syllabus is not feasible. Hence, wherever possible, use flowcharts, diagrams, mind maps/spidergram, mnemonics, etc., and make learning efficient and effortless.

8. Decode previous years’ question papers

If you have a closer look at the previous years’ papers from several years, you will notice a pattern. The pattern of repeated questions, recurrent concepts, important chapters, etc. This information can help you predict the possible topics and questions in the upcoming test. Seek the assistance of your seniors/teachers if need be.

9. Performance analysis

On a regular basis, compare and analyze your performance. Reward yourself on accomplishments and make note of your weaker areas and put in double the efforts to improve.
