Convert Decimals to Percentage: Earlier we have learned how to convert a decimal into a fraction using simple steps. Learn here: Convert Decimals to Fractions.
In this article, we will learn how to convert decimals into percentages. As we already know, a decimal is a numerical value that has a decimal point between it’s digits. The word percent simply means per 100 and is denoted by the symbol ‘%’. Thus, when 100 is multiplied by a decimal value then the digits get shifted by two places to the right and the percentage value is obtained. For example, the percentage of 0.5 is 50% (Fifty percent).
Facts:

Let us learn here in detail about converting decimal numbers to percentages with step by step explanations and solved examples.
How to Convert Decimals to Percentages?
Follow the below steps to convert decimals to percentages.
