Coordination Compounds MCQ

The compounds in which the central atom or group of atoms is surrounded by anions or neutral molecules called ligands are known as coordination compounds. In the coordination compounds, the central group acts as Lewis acid. The ligands are electron pair donors and function as the Lewis acid. The branch of chemistry under which properties of such compounds are studied is called the coordination chemistry. There is no sharp dividing line between the covalent, coordination and ionic compounds.
