NEET exam 2019 will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) in the offline mode of examination (pen and paper-based test). It is a national level medical entrance exam conducted for granting admission to undergraduate level medical courses like MBBS and BDS offered by medical and dental institutes across the country. Around 1.4 million students are expected to appear for NEET 2019. The Date for NEET- 2019 has been announced as 5th May, Sunday. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Candidates can do the Correction in Application Form of NEET 2019 from January 14 to 31, 2019. The official website for the correction is ntaneet.nic.in. This exam will be conducted in 150 cities this year, which was 84 earlier. Also, the vastness of the syllabus makes it highly competitive for students to grab admission in their preferred MBBS or BDS colleges. Q10. Is there a dress code for NEET-2019?

Male Candidate must wear light colour clothes, they can wear Pant/ Jeans/ Shirt (half sleeves only), the button of shirt should be medium size not big enough. Shoes are not allowed. A candidate is allowed to wear slipper or sandals only.

Female Candidate is supposed to wear light clothes with half sleeves having small buttons, big buttons, badge or brooch not allowed. Salwar, Trouser, Slippers, sandals with low heels are allowed. Female candidates are not allowed to wear shoes.

Changes Introduced In NEET 2019

The Medical Council Authority of India (MCI) has approved several changes in the NEET entrance examination. Given below is the list of all the new changes introduced by MCI:

  1. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh colleges are included in the 15% AIQ Scheme. The candidates belonging to these states are not required to submit a Self Declaration form now onwards.
  2. It is mandatory for students to qualify NEET Exam 2019 for pursuing medical courses in foreign institutes.
  3. The limitations on the total number of attempts have been removed, however, the candidates are allowed to attempt as per their prescribed category wise age limit.
  4. NIOS, State Open School candidates, and private candidates are not eligible for NEET 2019.
