NEET Exam 2019

NEET exam 2019 will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) in the offline mode of examination (pen and paper-based test). It is a national level medical entrance exam conducted for granting admission to undergraduate level medical courses like MBBS and BDS offered by medical and dental institutes across the country. The examination pattern of NEET 2019 will be exactly similar to that of last year. There will be a total of 180 objective type multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Changes Introduced In NEET 2019

The Medical Council Authority of India (MCI) has approved several changes in NEET entrance examination. Given below is the list of all the new changes introduced by MCI:

  1. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh colleges are included in 15% AIQ Scheme. The candidates belonging to these states are not required to submit a Self Declaration from now onwards.
  2. It is mandatory for students to qualify NEET Exam 2019 for pursuing medical courses in foreign institutes.
  3. The limitations on the total number of attempts have been removed, however, the candidates are allowed to attempt until their prescribed category wise age limit.
  4. NIOS, State Open School candidates, and private candidates are not eligible for NEET 2019.
