NTA on 27th March 2020 released an official notice stating the postponement of NEET-UG 2020 exams considering the distress encountered by students as well as parents with the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
The National Testing Agency has postponed the conduction of NEET-UG 2020 exams which was formerly scheduled to be conducted on 3rd May 2020. This delay came after numerous Examination boards and Ministries introspected the scenario, assessing the current circumstance that perhaps can entail changes in the timeline already set.
For now, students can make note that the exam is tentatively suggested to be conducted in the last week of May 2020. The official statement regarding the exact date and other details shall be declared post evaluating the condition later on.
Consequently, NEET Admit cards 2020 which were scheduled to be released on the official website on 27th March, will now as a result of the delay be issued later after gauging the condition post 15th April 2020 only.
The NTA has decided to take these measures in the wake of the pandemic as the welfare of citizens is equally important, if not more to the academic aspects/schedule of the students.
The NTA urges parents and students to not panic about exams for now. Instead, parents are solicited to engage and assist students in utilizing this surplus time for exam preparation and concentrating on conceptual clarity in view of the gaps that were perhaps created.
Students would be updated about the newest developments as and when they occur and also would be intimated about changes with sufficient time.
