The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) hosts the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) for students in grades one to twelve. The objective is to discover and assist students who have a good possibility of becoming scientists or technologists in the future. There are two levels to the IMO test: levels 1 and 2.

Maths is a fascinating topic, but many pupils are scared of it. The Maths Olympiad IMO Syllabus Class 6 is designed to give students the most opportunities to practise topics that are covered in their school curriculum. The Math syllabus also includes logical problems that help students improve their reasoning skills and strengthen their thinking capacity. Students can also take part in the Math Olympiad test to improve their skills in the subject. The IMO Syllabus Class 6 consists of four sections: Logical Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning, Everyday Mathematics, and Achievers.
IMO Class 6 Syllabus
Mathematics is an exciting topic. Students will be able to excel in the subject with the help of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) syllabus Class 6. The curriculum prepares students for a variety of exam topics. It gives them a head start preparing for CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and numerous state boards in various curricula. The IMO Syllabus for Class 6 is divided into four sections:
- Logical Reasoning section – The section is meant to help students improve their learning abilities and feel comfortable approaching nonverbal and verbal reasoning on several topics.
- Mathematical Reasoning section – Students must learn several methods for strengthening mathematical reasoning by resolving various kinds of mathematical problems.
- Everyday Mathematics – The 3rd section focuses on aiding students to improve their problem-solving skills in relation to various mathematical concepts.
- Achiever section – Students are evaluated on their fundamental mathematical skills in the last section. Since the core concepts are discussed in this segment, students must be conversant with the topics in advance to handle various questions more effectively.

The Marking Scheme for IMO Class 6
The marking scheme for Class 6 is tabulated below. Classes 1 to 4 have 35 questions to answer, while Classes 5 to 12 have 50 questions to solve.
