1. The UPMSP announced the results for the 2023 UP Board Intermediate (Class 12) examinations on 25th April 2023. Students can check the results on the UP Board’s official website.
2. UPMSP has made the pre-board examinations compulsory this year.
3. The dates for the UPMSP Class 12 Board Examinations, 2023 are out.
4. The UPMSP has released the Intermediate Marks Improvement Exam Result Year 2023.
5. The UPMSP has extended the date for the high school and Intermediate Examinations of the year 2023 and advanced registration for Class 11 of the academic session 2022-23. The last date for advance registration and Examination application has been extended up to 20 November 2022.

About the UP 12th Board 

The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, also known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), is the body that is responsible for regulating and conducting Board Examinations for Class 12 students in the state. All Exams under the UP 12th Board are conducted by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh. This board was established in 1921 and conducted its first Exam in 1923. The headquarters of UP Board is located in Allahabad.

Notably, every year 25 – 30 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 Exam, which is conducted by the UPMSP. The number is among the highest in the country. However, the UP Board Intermediate Exam is quite an important Exam and is meticulously conducted. The board maintains some level of strictness and issues guidelines that are to be followed by both the schools and the students. • Total Number of Students: The average number of students appearing for the UP 12th Board Exams has roughly been around 25 lakhs. In 2021, 25,54,813 students appeared for their UP 12th Board Intermediate Exams, which was more than that in 2020, when 24,84,479 students appeared. • Overall Passing Percent: The performance of students in UP 12th Board has been around 70% since 2018. In 2020 the overall pass percentage was 74.63%.
