The RBI Assistant notification 2020 has been released. The last recruitment for RBI Assistant was conducted in the year 2017 and it is after 2 years that RBI has released vacancies for the post of Assistant in the Reserve Bank of India. RBI Assistant Selection Procedure

The RBI Assistant exam will be conducted in three stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Language Proficiency Test

The preliminary level of the exam will be only qualifying in nature and the marks scored in this level of the exam will not be calculated for merit. Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for the mains exams and the final selection of candidates will be based on the marks scored in the mains exam.

RBI Assistant Salary

As per the official RBI Assistant notification, starting basic pay of Rs. 14,650 is given to the employees at the pay scale of 13150–750(3)–15400–900(4)–19000–1200(6)–26200–1300(2)–28800–1480(3)–33240–1750(1)–34990. At present, the initial monthly gross emoluments of an Assistant is approximately Rs. 36,091.
