RBI Grade B Phase-II Syllabus

The Phase-II of the RBI Grade-B exam tests the candidates in three areas: Economic and Social Sciences, English, and Finance & Management. The questions asked in this phase will be both Objective and Subjective in nature. Let’s learn about topics that are touched upon, related to the three main areas mentioned above:

RBI Grade B Officer Salary

The RBI Grade-B Officer commands a handsome salary and enjoys many other perks. Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 35150-1750 (9)-50900-EB-1750 (2)-54400-2000 (4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 75,831/-(approx.)

RBI Grade-B Application Fee

The application fee for this exam is Rs. 800 for Gen/OBC candidates and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. The RBI Grade-B admit cards are generally released a few weeks before the date of the exam. These admit cards can be downloaded from the official website.

RBI Grade-B Result

The roll number of finally shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the official website and an invitation will also be sent to the selected candidates on the email ID’s, which they provided at the time of application.

The final selection of the candidates will be through a merit list. The merit list will take into account the performance of a candidate in both Phase-II and interview rounds. The final RBI Grade B result is expected to be released a few weeks after the completion of the interview round.
