Business Studies for CBSE Class 12 is divided into three parts (a) Principles and Functions of Management (b) Business Finance and Marketing and (c) Project Work. These three parts carry 50, 30 and 20 marks respectively.

From the marks distribution it can be seen that Units 1, 2,3,6,7 and 8 are the most important chapters from Part A which is about Principles and Functions of Management. It constitutes about 60% of the total marks from Part A.
Part B is about Business Finance and Marketing and it follows a balanced approach in allotting marks. Hence, students should be giving equal concentration in preparing for this unit.
