The CAT 2022 Question Paper was set and prepared by IIM Bangalore to conduct the national-level exam on 27 November 2022. CAT 2022 Question Paper Overview

The CAT 2022 was administered in 400 locations across 159 cities in India. The exam duration was 120 minutes, with 40 minutes time limit for each section. A total of 66 questions were asked. Aspirants can familiarise themselves with the CAT 2022 exam pattern by solving question papers and taking mock tests before the exam. Understanding the exam pattern will acquaint candidates with the fundamental elements required to pass the CAT with a good score.

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: A total of 24 questions were asked in this section, which was of moderate difficulty level. The topics covered in this section were Para Summary, Para Completion and Para Jumbles.
• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: A total of 20 questions were asked in this section from Venn Diagram, Scatter Plot, etc.
• Quantitative Aptitude: A total of 22 questions were asked in this section, of which 14 were MCQs, and 8 were TITA questions.

CAT 2022 Slot 1 Question Paper Analysis

The overall difficulty level of the CAT 2022 Question Paper slot 1 was moderate, as all three exam sections were easy for most candidates. No questions were asked on Odd One Out in CAT 2022 VARC, and no questions were asked from Time and Work in CAT 2022 QA.

CAT 2022 Slot 2 Question Paper Analysis

A total of 66 questions were in the CAT exam 2022 slot 2. The QA section was slightly more difficult than the slot 1 exam paper. In the table below, we have shared the section-wise difficulty level and the good score of the CAT 2022 Question Paper.

CAT 2022 Slot 3 Question Paper Analysis

The overall difficulty level was moderate. The QA section was dominated by Arithmetic and Algebra. In LR, a number of arrangement questions were asked. The RC passages of the CAT 2022 VARC were a little tricky to solve.
