World Tsunami Awareness Day is observed on 5th November. The World Tsunami Awareness Day was established by United Nations General Assembly. The day was first observed in 2016.

World Science Day for Peace and Development

World Science Day for Peace and Development is observed on 10th November. The day was designated by UNESCO. The theme for World Science Day for Peace and Development 2018 was ‘Science, a Human Right’. The day was first observed in 2001.

World Pneumonia Day

World Pneumonia Day is observed on 12th November. The day was designated by WHO. The theme for World Pneumonia Day 2018 was ‘Stop Pneumonia: Invest in Child Health’. The day was first observed in 2009.

World Diabetes Day

World Diabetes Day was observed on 14th November. The day was designated by International Diabetes Federation and accepted by UN in 2006. The theme of World Diabetes Day 2018 was Eyes on Diabetes. The day was first observed in 1991 by International Diabetes Federation. The theme for the 2019 celebration would be ‘Family and Diabetes’.

International Day for Tolerance

International Day for Tolerance observed on 16th November. The day was designated by United Nations General Assembly. The day was first observed in 1995. On every International Day for Tolerance, the UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence awarded.

World Philosophy Day

World Philosophy Day is observed on 3rd Thursday of November. The day is designated by UNESCO. The World Philosophy Day was first observed in 2002.

World Toilet Day

World Toilet Day is observed on 19th November. The day was designated by World Toilet Organisation. The theme for World Toilet Day 2018 was ‘When Nature Calls’. The day was first observed in 2001.

International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women

International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women is observed on 25th November. The day was designated by United Nations General Assembly. The theme of International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women 2018 was Orange the World – raise funds to end violence against women. The day was first observed in 2000

National Milk Day

National Milk Day is observed on 26th November. The day designated by Indian Dairy Association. The day marks the birth anniversary of Father of The White Revolution and Man behind Amul, who is the father of Amul. The day was first observed in 2014.
