UPSC 2018 Applications Rejected by UPSC for Non-Payment of Fee

The UPSC has released a list of the names of candidates whose applications for taking the 2018 UPSC prelims exam have been rejected due to the non-payment of fees.

The UPSC has not received any confirmation from the banks regarding the receipt of the Rs.100/- fee from 124 candidates whose names are present on the list. Women, SC/ST and disabled candidates are exempt from this fee.

Candidates whose applications have been rejected can appeal against this by submitting the original document (of fee payment) by speed post or in person to the following address latest by 26th March 2018:

  1. In case the candidate has paid by DD at a branch of the State Bank of India, he should submit the system generated pay-in-slip as proof.
  2. In case the candidate has paid the amount by credit/debit card/internet banking, he should submit the card statement or the bank account statement. This copy should also be duly authenticated by the bank authorities.
