UPSC Mains 2018 Results Declared

The UPSC has declared the 2018 Civil Services Mains (Written) Exam results. The results have been published on the official UPSC website. This time, it took 74 days for the results to be out. The CSE mains exams were held between 28th September and 7th October 2018.

UPSC IAS Mains Result 2018

About 10500 candidates had qualified for the CSE Mains 2018. Out of the candidates who took the IAS Mains exam, 1994 candidates have cleared it and are on their way to the final stage of the UPSC IAS exam 2018. There are 782 vacancies for this year.

Candidates who have cleared should note that the candidature is provisional to their being found eligible in all respects.

UPSC Personality Test: From 4th February 2019.

Candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test/Interview should download their E-Summon Letter of Personality Test from the UPSC Website, upsc.gov.in.

E-Summons for UPSC Interview will be uploaded on UPSC Website from 8th January 2019

When attending a personality test, candidates should furnish their original documents regarding proof of age, educational qualifications, category, physical handicap (if applicable) and other mandatory documents like TA Form, etc. Candidates are advised to keep the required certificates and documents ready well in advance.

Note:

Since the Government had revised the cadre allocation policy, the zones and cadre preference were not obtained from the candidates during the 2018 UPSC Mains DAF submission. As per the Revised Cadre Allocation Policy, all candidates who have cleared the mains exam are required to fill the Addendum to the DAF available online and submit the same their zones and cadre preferences online. This Addendum will be available on the UPSC official website from 21st December 2018 to 3rd January 2019, till 6:00 PM.
