Difference between DVR and NVR

What is a DVR?

The full form of DVR is Digital Video Recorder. It is an electronic gadget that is primarily used to record video in a digital setup to a USB flash drive, disk drive, SD memory card and other local mass storage devices. It is mostly used for recording from analogue or coaxial based cameras.

What is NVR?

The full form of NVR is Network Video Recorder. It is a high-tech computer system that comprises a software program to record video in the digital form to a USB flash drive, disk drive, SD memory card and other local mass storage device.

Difference between DVR and NVR
