Is There A Negative Marking for GATE Exams?
GATE paper constitutes about 60 questions for a total of 100 marks. Now, a question that GATE aspiring candidates would have is, “Is there a GATE Negative Marking?” A GATE exam paper comprises the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and /or Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions. So, most candidates have a well-founded doubt if “negative marking” is valid for GATE exams.
