Eligibility Criteria for the Bihar STET 2023
All the information about the eligibility criteria for the Bihar STET is given in the official notification released by the Bihar State Exam Board (BSEB). An overview of the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Board is given below.
- Nationality
Candidates who wish to apply for the Bihar STET have to be a citizen of India and a resident of the State of Bihar.
- Age Limit
A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years to apply for the Bihar STET. The upper age limit for candidates who belong to various categories is given in the table below.

- Educational Qualification
Bihar STET comprises Paper I and Paper-II. Paper I is for those candidates who wish to teach 9 and 10-grade students. Candidates who wish to teach grades 11 and 12 have to write Paper-II. The educational qualification required for candidates who want to apply for Paper 1 or Paper 2 is given in the table below.
