The Bihar State Exam Board has not yet announced the 2023 vacancies. Candidates can check the previous year details to get an idea about it. The Bihar STET exam 2023 was conducted on 6th March 2023 and the notification was released on 3rd January 2023.
In 2019, the Bihar State Exam Board (BSEB) announced a total of 37,335 vacancies for the posts of Secondary and Senior Secondary school teachers. The Bihar STET exam was held on January 28, 2020, however it was later cancelled. The re-exam for the Bihar Secondary Teachers’ Eligibility Test (STET), 2019 was held between September 9 and 21, 2020. The results of the Bihar STET re-exams were declared on March 12, 2021 (except for Urdu, Sanskrit and Science).

The BSEB announced 25270 vacancies for the post of Secondary school teachers and 12065 vacancies for the post of Senior Secondary school teachers in 2019. The vacancy was notified for Science, Maths, Sanskrit, Social Science, Hindi, English and Urdu teachers in Secondary schools and Computer Science, Maths, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics and English teachers in Senior Secondary schools.
