The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 24 National Law Universities in India.

CLAT – Important Exam Dates 2025

The CLAT 2025 exam will be held tentatively in December 2025. Aspirants must keep an eye on the official website for details on exam dates. Here are some tentative exam dates for the upcoming CLAT 2025 exam.

CLAT 2025 Notification release date

Aspirants can get detailed information about the CLAT 2025 exam from the official notification. The notification has major details about the application form, CLAT eligibility, exam dates, admit card, exam information, etc. Aspirants can expect the CLAT 2025 notification to be released tentatively in May 2024.

CLAT 2025 online Application form release date

CLAT online application form-filling window will open in July 2024 tentatively. Candidates must ensure to fill all relevant data with the correct information in the CLAT Application form, or else their admission can be denied during counselling. Candidates can select up to 3 exam centres from the list for their preferred exam place. The CLAT 2025 application fee is Rs 4,000 for general and unreserved candidates. And the CLAT registration fee for SC and ST candidates will be Rs. 3,500.

CLAT 2025 Admit card release date

CLAT 2025 admit card will be released tentatively in the last week of November 2024 or the first week of December 2024. Usually the admit card is released 2 weeks before the exam. For the 2024 exam, the CLAT admit card was released on November 21, 2023 till December 3, 2023 (1.30 PM). The admit card contains all relevant information about the exam, reporting time, instructions, roll number and CLAT exam centre address and name.

CLAT 2025 Answer Key release date

CLAT 2025 answer key will be released soon after the commencement of the CLAT 2025 exam. For the 2024 CLAT Exam, the provisional answer key was released on 4 December 2023 and the final answer key was released on December 9, 2023. The objection regarding the answer key will be allowed from the next day of the release of the provisional answer key. Once the challenges are resolved, the final answer key is released.

CLAT 2025 Result Date

The CLAT 2025 result will be declared tentatively in the last week of December 2024. The Consortium of National Law Universities will publish the CLAT 2025 results on its official website. Candidates can check their ranks in the merit list and download the scorecard by logging into their CLAT account on the official website. The CLAT exam merit list will contain the admit card number, All India rank and total marks of the candidates. After the declaration of results, candidates have to fill their preference order for all 24 NLUs.
