Super TET Eligibility

Super TET is the secondary level exam conducted by UPBEB. Only the candidates who have qualified CTET/UPTET can appear for this exam. The next super TET notification is expected soon. The candidates interested in applying for the examination must know about the eligibility criteria for the examination.

Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2023

The eligibility criteria for Super TET is based on nationality, age limit and educational qualifications. 

Nationality

The candidate applying for the Super TET should be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age limit for Super TET is 21 Years
  • The maximum age limit for Super TET is 40 Years

The age relaxations for different categories are given in the below table

Government Exam 2023

Educational Qualification

Primary Teachers (Class 1st to 5th)
  • Must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (or)
  • Must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and possess 4 years’ Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Degree (or)
  • Must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and have also passed in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
  • Must have a Graduation Degree and passed a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (or)
  • Must have a Graduation Degree and Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) Degree
Secondary Teachers (Class 6th to 8th)
  • Must have held a bachelor’s degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). 
  • Must have held a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
  • Must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC with the recognized institute.
  • Must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
  • Must have held a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed degree.

 

Note: Apart from fulfilling the above given educational qualification, the candidate must also make sure that you have passed the UPTET or CTET examination as well.
