India’s history and culture are dynamic, spanning back to the beginning of human civilization. The Early Indian literature provides extracts from the lives of people during ancient India. The Vedas are the earliest known Hindu literature describing the Indian culture and the people. Two of the greatest epics of ancient Indian literature are the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
