What is causing climate change?

The climate on Earth has been changing ever since its formation. Both natural and man-made factors have affected the climate and resulted in this change. However, human activities are the main cause of climate change. Burning of fossil fuels, deforestation for the purpose of urbanization, an increasing trend in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, increasingly intensive agriculture that emits greenhouse gases like methane and nitrous oxide and increasing livestock farming are the main causes of climate change.
