Resource planning is a technique or skill of proper utilisation of resources. It consists of three stages
- Identification and inventory of resources. ’
- Evolving a planning structure with appropriate technology, skill and institutional set-up for implementing resource development plans.
- Matching the resource development plans with overall national development plans
Resource planning is very important for a country like India because it has enormous diversity in the availability of resources
