What is the Act of Settlement 1781?

The Act of Settlement 1781 was an Amending Act which removed the shortcomings of the Regulating Act 1773. Passed by the British Parliament on 5th July it is also known as the Declaratory Act, 1781

The basic aim of the Act of Settlement 1781 was to establish a new system of courts to remove the grievances against the Supreme Court.
