What percentage of wildlife have been lost?

Over the last 50 years about 68% of the wildlife population has been wiped out due to rampant deforestation, over-hunting and overexploitation.

Habitat destruction, fragmentation, and modification caused by human-led activities such as farming, industrialization etc continue to take a tremendous toll on wildlife. Their extinction will ultimately doom human civilization itself.
