Where is a grassland ecosystem found?

Grassland ecosystems are situated between deserts and forests. The temperate variety is found in North America, South America and in Asia along the southern portion of Russia and Mongolia.

The Grassland Ecosystem is an area where the vegetation is dominated by grasses and other herbaceous (non-woody) plants.
