The Summer Olympics, 2024 will be hosted by Paris from July 26, 2024, to August 11, 2024.
It is an international sporting fiesta with multiple sports events that takes place every four years.
The International Olympic Committee session in Lima, Peru chose Paris to host the Olympics in 2024. It has also chosen Los Angeles to conduct the Summer Olympics in 2028. This is the third time that Paris will host the Summer Olympics after 1900 and 1924.
Only five countries have participated in every Summer Olympics. Australia, France, Great Britain, Greece, and Switzerland.
The debut Olympic Event of the 2024 Summer Olympics is breaking or breakdancing.
The motto of Summer Olympics 2024 is ‘Made For Sharing’ and there will be 32 sport events in total.
Summer Olympic Games
- It is the most prestigious and renowned sporting event at the International level. Also known as the Games of Olympiad, it initially took place in Athens, Greece.
- The Winter Games, 2022 was held in Beijing, China.
