Suresh N. Patel is the present Central Vigilance Commissioner. President of India appoints CVC members by warrant under his hand and seal. The President’s appointment comes after the recommendation committee consisting of the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs (MHA) and the leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha.
