The Dravidian Movement was started by Periyar E. V. Ramasamy. It was a movement which comprises the four major ethno-linguistic groups in South India.
The Dravidian movement found little takers beyond Tamil Nadu due to a variety of factors such as culture and ethnic differences among the people of South India
