EPFO Assistant 2023 Eligibility: Nationality
Regarding nationality eligibility, the EPFO eligibility rules indicate the following. The candidate must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- a citizen of India,
- a subject of Nepal,
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

EPFO Assistant 2023 Eligibility: Age Limit
Only the applicants who meet the age requirements can apply for EPFO Assistant positions. Candidates should make sure that they have all of the necessary documents for a seamless document verification procedure before applying for the positions. Candidates should have a graduation degree from a recognized university, as on the closing date for online registration of application. However, there are a few points that aspirants should remember:
- A recognised university is one that has been formed by an Act of Parliament or a State Legislature in India, or one that has been designated as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956. (3 of 1956).
- Applicants who are awaiting the results of the final test for the required Educational / Professional certification SHOULD NOT APPLY.

The authorities would not consider any inquiries.
- EPFO employees and government employees requesting age relaxation must present a certificate in the format approved by the EPFO.
- Documents verifying the identity of the candidates need to be submitted at the time of appointment. All documents must have the same signature.
- Ration cards and learner’s licences are not recognised as forms of identification.
