Important Topics and Tips Prepare for Class 12 Maths Exam

Mathematics is one of the scoring subjects for CBSE class 12 students. If a student has a clear understanding of the topic and has practised different types of problems, then he can score even 100 out of 100 marks. But achieving this is not a cakewalk. Students need to put extra effort and have to be consistent with their studies throughout the year. Here we have provided important topics and tips to prepare for the CBSE class 12 Maths exam.

If students have completed CBSE Class 12 Maths Syllabus on time, then they have won half the battle. This can be done easily by studying simultaneously in the classroom. CBSE Class 12 Maths Question Paper Pattern

The class 12 Maths paper is 80 marks, and 20 marks are assigned for the internal assessment. There are total of 4 sections in the question paper. The number of questions and marks allocated to each section is provided below in the table. This will give an idea of class 12 Maths question paper design to the students. Based on this, they can figure out the exam strategy for themselves like which section to attempt first and how much time to devote to each section.

Section Name Type of Question Mark Per Question Total No. of Question Total Marks
Section A Very Short Answer

Practice Practice and Practice

The key to scoring high marks in class 12 Maths is practice. Students must finish their syllabus by the end of December month and then they must start with the revision. For revising Maths the best resource is to solve the CBSE Class 12 Maths sample papers. By practising different types of sample papers, students will have a good practice of different sets of papers with varying difficulty levels. Along with this, students must also practice the CBSE Previous Years Class 12 Maths Papers. Through this, they will get a better understanding of the difficulty level of the exam and the types of questions asked. Also, they could be able to figure out the important questions that are mostly asked in the exam. Students should focus on practising Maths and evaluating exam preparation. They must analyze their strong and weak points. Accordingly, they should give time to the weak areas and work on them. By doing so, the performance of the students will improve.
