NEET Registration 2023 Date: Online registration for NEET UG 2023 began on March 6th, 2023. The application window closes on April 6th, 2023. The NTA has scheduled NEET UG on May 7th, 2023 and is to be held in 500+ test centres across all major Indian cities as well as overseas.

NEET 2023 exam is a medical entrance test conducted across India for medical aspirants. Students who clear this test can seek admission to undergraduate medical programmes such as MBBS, BDS and other AYUSH courses. The first step in the process of applying for NEET is NEET 2023 Registration. Register for NEET 2023 by filling out the NEET online application form.

NEET registration 2023 date is yet to be announced by the conducting authority of NEET – NTA. Once the registration date is released, interested candidates can start applying for NEET 2023 exam in online mode only, on its official website – nta.neet.nic.in

Over the years, the registration process has more or less remained the same. Candidates preparing to appear for NEET 2023 exam can follow these simple steps to apply for NEET 2023.

• Visit the official website – nta.neet.nic.in.
• Click on the NEET online registration link.
• Register with your mobile number and email address.
• Fill out the NEET exam 2023 registration form. Make a note of the application number generated.
• Scan and upload the required documents.
• Pay the examination fee.
• Download and take a hard copy of the filled application form for future reference.

The official authorities are yet to release the examination fee for NEET 2023, which is to be paid during the online registration of NEET. Meanwhile, candidates can take a look at the detailed fee structure of NEET 2022 for reference.

Mode of Payment of Fee

Application fee payment can be made through the following mode:

• Online method – Credit card/Debit card/Paytm/Net banking
• Processing charges and GST, as applicable, are chargeable (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator

NTA (National Testing Agency) specifies the eligibility criteria for NEET 2023 which aspirants must be well versed with. Read below for details:

Age criteria

• The minimum age limit is 17 years as of December 31, of the year of admission for students belonging to all the categories.
• There is no clause on the upper age limit of candidates to appear for NEET.

As per the letter dated 09 March 2022, received from National Medical Commission, Under Graduate Medical Education Board pertaining to the upper age limit, there should be no upper age limit as decided in the fourth NMC meeting held on 21 October 2021.

Year of passing

• Candidates who are appearing for their board exams in the year 2023 – Eligible
• Candidates who have appeared for the Class 12 exam and appearing for an improvement exam – Eligible
• Students who have appeared for the Class 12 exam in 2022 and have taken an improvement exam in 2023, can mention the year of the exam with a better score.

Aggregate marks

• For, General Category – 50% (Physically Handicapped, PH – 45%)
• For, OBC/SC/ST – 40% (PH – 40%)

Note: The marks scored for Maths will not be taken into consideration in this exam

Subjects assessed

• NEET has a total of 3 subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• After registering, candidates must fill the online NEET application form for 2023 (online mode).
• Upload scanned documents and pay the fees as per the category guidelines. Only submit the NEET exam form after carefully reading all the details entered.
• After submission of the form, save your application number.
• Take a printout of the confirmation page and save it for your records.
• NTA reviews applications and in case of any discrepancies.
• Please note, candidates can make edits to their submitted application form only for certain fields, not all. Hence, candidates must ensure to provide correct details at the time of registration.
• After the portal for corrections closes, candidates can visit the official website to check and download admit cards as and when it releases.
• NEET admit cards will be made available in online mode only.
• After the release of the admit cards, the examination takes place on the scheduled date.
