West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Examinations (WBCHSE) has announced the revised dates for the Class 12 exams. As per the latest schedule, the exams are expected to be conducted on 29 June, 2 July and 6 July 2020.
The Higher Secondary examinations for most of the subjects were concluded on schedule, as per the specified dates. However, a few papers for the WBCHSE Class 12 exams that were due on 23 March 2020, as well as on the 25th and 27th were postponed, due to the lockdown resulting from the coronavirus pandemic scare. These postponed exams are now being conducted from 29 June 2020 to 6 July 2020.
West Bengal Education Board had also earlier encouraged the schools to promote the Class 11 students for this academic year. Schools were asked to send in the marks for the already completed exams for Class 11 in the required format, as specified by the council and delivered as per the norms of the past year by 22 June 2020.
