The State Bank of India conducts the SBI PO exam to fill vacancies in the Probationary Officer (PO) post in its branches across the country.
The SBI PO Exam 2023, like all the exams in the previous years, will be conducted in three stages:
- Prelims Stage
- Mains Stage
- Interview Stage

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Prelims is the first stage which candidates must clear. The details of the prelims exam pattern is given as follows:

*Note: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate. No deduction will be there in marks if a question is left unattempted or blank by a candidate.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Mains is the second stage which candidates will make it to after clearing the prelims. The details of the mains exam pattern is given as follows:

*Note: There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1/4th of marks assigned to that
The question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
