SBI PO Exam Syllabus 2017, There might be some difficulty level of question in SBI PO mains Exam but now we give you the brief explanation about the SBI PO Mains exam.
Before explaining about the syllabus part we would like to give the SBI PO Exam Pattern and the cutoff section, because the cutoffs and the sectional cutoffs are more important things while taking the SBI PO Mains Exam.

The SBI PO Mains Exam consist of mainly three phases they are phase-I objective part, phase-II subjective part or descriptive part and phase-III is group discussion and interview. The below is the structural part of the SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern.
Phase-I Objective part in the SBI PO Mains Exam includes:
- Reasoning and computer aptitude
- Data analysis and interpretation
- General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness
- English language
These are topics which are covered in the SBI PO Mains phase-I that is objective part, now let us discuss on the topics.
Almost 45 question are asked in the reasoning part and the marks allotted are 60 and the exam duration is for 60 minutes. In this part the logical reasoning, conditional statements, data sufficiency, blood relation and coding – decoding.
Data analysis and interpretation:
Data analysis completely depends on the information given in the informational part in the question so you need to concentrate on the question to get a clear glance about the question and then start working on the answer part, topics included so far in this part are data interpretation (Bar, Pie, Line graph, Missing), data sufficiency, arithmetic. There are 35 questions asked in this part and the exam duration is for 45 minutes but the total mark allotted is for 60.
General/ Economy/ Banking awareness:
This part completely based on the current affairs, questions related to banking, economy, e.t.c. So candidates need to be update themselves with the things that are happening in the current stage like politics, banking awareness. If candidates are preparing in this way then they can crack this section in a lesser amount of time.
This section consist of 35 questions the topics which are included in this section reading comprehension, antonyms & synonyms, statements connection and relevant statements. Marks allotted for this section are 40 and the exam duration is 40 minutes.
Phase-II Descriptive part in SBI PO Mains Exam:
There are only two parts letter writing and essay writing. Exam duration is for 30 minutes comprises of 50 marks. This test will judge the writing skills of the candidates.
Phase-III Group discussion and Personal interview:
Candidates who cleared SBI PO Mains Exam would then be called for the group discussions and personal interview test. The group discussion carry 20 marks and the interview will carry 30 marks.
