What is the date of CAT 2022?

CAT 2022 is expected to be held on 27th November, 2022. However, the Exam date will be released in the official notification of the IIMs in the last week of July 2022.

Is CAT 2022 a two-shift or three-shift exam?

CAT 2022 will be conducted in three sessions: Morning (8:30 am – 10:30 am) Afternoon (12:30 pm – 2:30 pm) Evening (4:30 pm – 6:30 pm). The exam was conducted in 2 segments until CAT 2019, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Due to the pandemic, CAT has been split into three sessions since 2020.

Can I register for the CAT if I have 58 % marks?

The CAT is open to applicants with a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA who can apply for the exam. Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Aspirants with academic backlogs during their undergraduate programme may also apply.

What is the Eligibility criteria for CAT Exam 2022?

Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-accredited university with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for CAT 2022. In the case of PwD candidates and candidates from the reserved categories, it is 45 per cent. Students in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to take the CAT Exam.
