The Central Board of Secondary Education popularly known as CBSE is one of the oldest and most preferred educational board in India. The CBSE 2018 Class 10 examination commenced on 5th March and ended on 4th April 2018. Around 16.38 lakh students registered for CBSE Class 10 examination this year. Every year CBSE conducts the Class 10 and Class 12 final examination mostly in the month of March. The Class 10 Exams are also called as All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE). The board made the 10 standard examinations optional in the academic session 2010 – 2011. However, after a 7-year gap, from the year 2018, the board exam has been made compulsory for all students.

Both the CBSE Class 12 results and Class 10 results will be declared on the official CBSE website. To check the CBSE 10th board result, students will have to enter their roll number and other details asked. Some procedure to check the CBSE Class 10 result are provided below.

Procedure to check the CBSE 10th result online

The steps to check the CBSE 10th board result 2018 online from the official website of the board is given below.

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website i.e., or

Step 2: Enter your date of birth, roll number, and school number.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 4: The CBSE result will be displayed. Download and take a printout.

Procedure to check the CBSE Class 10 result through IVR

Students can also check their CBSE 10th result through IVR. For one roll number, the IVR call would charge 30 paise per minute. The IVR numbers of previous year where students could check their CBSE Class 10 result are given below.

Procedure to check the CBSE board 10th class result via SMS

Last year students were given the option to generate their CBSE Class 10 result through SMS. The format of the SMS was – ‘CBSE 10[roll number]’. The numbers where the SMS had to be sent are given below.
