The Central Board of Secondary Education popularly known as CBSE is one of the oldest and most preferred educational board in India. The CBSE 2019 Class 10 examination commenced on 21st February and ended on 29th March 2019. Around 18.19 lakh students registered for CBSE Class 10 examination this year. The CBSE Board declared the Class 10 results today (Monday, 6 May 2019). The overall pass percentage of CBSE Class 10 students is 91.1 percent which is better compared to last year with 86.07 percent. Class 10 CBSE Board students can check their results on official website i.e. www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in or www.cbse.nic.in.
In 2018, the pass percentage of students was 88.67 percent. Girls had outperformed boys with 86.07 percent of them passing the exams against 85.32 percent of boys.
Every year CBSE conducts the Class 10 and Class 12 final examination mostly in the month of February or March. The Class 10 Exams are also called as All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE). The board made the 10 standard examinations optional in the academic session 2010 – 2011. However, after a 7-year gap, from the year 2018, the board exam has been made compulsory for all students.

Procedure to check the CBSE 10th result online
The steps to check the CBSE 10th board result 2019 online from the official website of the board is given below.
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website i.e. www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in or www.cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: Enter your date of birth, roll number, and school number.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 4: The CBSE result will be displayed. Download and take a printout.
Procedure to check the CBSE Class 10 result through IVR
Students can also check their CBSE 10th result through IVR. For one roll number, the IVR call would charge 30 paise per minute.

Procedure to check the CBSE board 10th class result via Microsoft Organizer App
Microsoft is helping students to check their CBSE Class 10 results using its SMS Organizer app.
Step 1: Download Microsoft SMS Organizer app in your Andriod device from Google play store and install it.
Step 2: After the app is installed, it will notify you to register for the CBSE Class 10 results. Enter the required details and then you’ll soon be notified of your results directly via an SMS.
