The CBSE Board exams are going on. Today was the CBSE Class 12 Biology Paper. The exam started at 10:30 am and ended by 1:30 pm. An extra time of 15 minutes (i.e from 10:15 am to 10:30 am) was provided to the students for reading the Biology question paper. CBSE Class 12 Biology Paper 2019 Specifics:
The CBSE Class 12 Biology exam is of total 100 marks. The theory paper of biology consists of 70 marks and 30 marks are assigned to the practicals.

CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam Analysis 2019
The CBSE Class 12 Biology 2019 paper consists of a total of 27 questions which were divided into 4 sections namely:
- Section A: It consists of very short answer type questions numbered from 1 to 5. Each question is of 1 mark.
- Section B: It consists of short answer type I questions numbered from 6 to 12. Each question is of 2 marks.
- Section C: It consists of short answer type II questions numbered from 13 to 24. Each question is of 3 marks.
- Section D: It consists of long answer type questions numbered from 25 to 27. Each question is of 5 marks.
The majority of the questions were asked from the NCERT Books for Class 12 Biology. Only 2 questions were a bit tricky and asked in a different way. However nothing comes out of the CBSE Class 12 Syllabus.
CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam Paper Review 2019
The overall Biology paper was of easy level. The students were happy after giving the biology exam and said that it was easier as compared to Physics & Chemistry paper. From the teachers point of view, the Biology Class 12 CBSE paper was balanced. Also, all the sets of biology papers were of the same difficulty level. There wasn’t much variation. The paper was not lengthy, therefore students could able to manage the time properly. Most of the students have drawn neat labelled diagram to score better marks.
Weightage of the CBSE Class 12 Biology Paper
The Biology paper of class 12 CBSE board followed the marking scheme as per the CBSE guidelines which was mentioned in the curriculum. However, some of the questions were repeated from the previous year’s CBSE Question Paper for Class 12 Biology.
