CSAT – Prelims
UPSC conducts the civil services exam in three stages- Prelims, Mains, and interview. The preliminary exam is the first screening stage which decides the fate of an aspirant. The Prelims consist of two papers:
- General Studies Paper I
- General Studies Paper II( CSAT)
The General Studies Paper I deal with Polity, Economy, Geography, History, and General science and currents affairs. The General Studies Paper II (CSAT) deals with aptitude and English comprehension.
