Geography Questions in UPSC Prelims 2017

Geography is an important subject in the scheme of things as far as the UPSC exam is concerned. Generally, anywhere between 10 and 20 questions are asked in the UPSC prelims exam from this subject. It is also a popular optional because of precise and rational nature. It does not contain material that is subjective and therefore open to interpretation. It is this aspect of the subject that makes it equally appealing to both science/technical and humanities background aspirants.
