3 Days NCERT Books Revision Tips
Since we are discussing the strategy to revise, it is assumed that you have taken at least one reading of the NCERT Books and highlighted or jotted down important information. The key point to remember while revising any book or source is that you don’t read word for word and instead use the smart strategy of glancing through the irrelevant material and learning the highlighted or underlined part.
You can find the List of all important NCERT books for the UPSC Exam here.
The following tips can be used for the effective revision-
- Segregate– Sort the NCERTs subject wise as it is the best way to revise and relate the concepts to join the dots.
- Prioritise– Prioritise which subject you want to pick up first and which subject later. It is advised to take the Subjects you find tough, first.
- Make a timetable– The most significant aspect of the exam process is creating a timetable and managing time. Make a study timetable that includes at least 8-10 hours of study time. Add an hour of rejuvenation as well, as it is critical for keeping you stress-free and thus performing better.
- Effective revision– At the end of the day give a quick revision in 30 mins to revise the important facts you have learnt in the whole day.
- Mock test– Mock tests based on NCERT textbooks can be used to supplement the revision process. As a result, you will have a better comprehension of the ideas and will be able to identify your mistakes.
