1. Statues of Lord Basaveshwara & Nadaprabhu Kempegowda

Context – Shri Amit Shah unveiled the statues of Lord Basaveshwara and Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at the State Assembly, Bengaluru.
Details –
- The Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah unveiled the statues of Lord Basaveshwara (Basavana) & Nadaprabhu Kempegowda in the premises of the State Assembly, Bengaluru, karnataka. These statutes will continue to convey Basaveshwara and Kempegowda ji’s message of democracy, social justice, good governance and development to those who get elected in the assembly. These statues will keep the conscience of the legislative assembly alive.Â
- The statue of Lord Basaveshwara ji installed will convey to the whole world that India is the mother of democracy. In the 12th century, it was Jagatjyoti Basavana who had the courage to discuss the empowerment of the society by providing a single platform to the people from the lower to the higher class of the society.
- With the support of Samrat Achyutaraya, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda ji laid the strong foundation of Bengaluru and made it a city of lakes, thereby explaining to the whole world the importance of water.Â
- The double engine government under the leadership of the Prime Minister has taken the state of Karnataka a long way in the last four years.

- Karnataka ranks first in FDI across the country.
- Bengaluru has 39 startups with an asset value of more than $1 billion.
- In the Innovation Index, Karnataka stands first.
- In India’s space sector. Karnataka’s share is 25%.
- In defence aircraft manufacturing, out of every 100 aircrafts manufactured 75 are made in Karnataka.

Context – Shri Narendra Modi complimented CRPF for the energetic and impressive 84th CRPF Day Parade.
Details –
- The 84th CRPF Day Parade was held in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. The Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah took the salute at the parade.
- The CRPF came into existence on July 27, 1939 as the Crown Representative Police. After Independence it was renamed as Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) by an Act of Parliament on December 28, 1949. The Act constituted CRPF as an armed force of the Union. The CRPF rules as envisaged in the CRPF Act were framed in 1955. Â It is one of the oldest central paramilitary forces.
- On March 19, 1950 the then Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhai Patel presented Presidential colours to the CRPF for its commendable services.
3. Successful Launch of LVM3 (Launch Vehicle Mark-3)

Context– The Prime Minister congratulated NSIL, IN-SPACe and ISRO for the successful launch of LMV3.
Details –
- The LVM3-M3/ One Web India -2 Mission was accomplished with all 36 satellites deployed into intended orbits.
- The LVM3 was carrying a total payload of 5,805 kg to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and was launched from the second launchpad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
- Network Access Associates Ltd, United Kingdom (OneWeb Group Company) has signed an agreement with ISRO’s commercial arm NewSpace India Ltd (NSIL) to launch 72 satellites into Low-Earth orbits (LEO). On 23 October 2022, ISRO had launched 36 satellites of OneWeb.Â
