GATE-qualified candidates are also eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories and CSIR Sponsored Projects. These fellowships provide an attractive stipend of ₹ 31,000 to ₹ 35,000 per month. A house-rent allowance (HRA) of ₹ 8,000 for a single student and ₹ 13,000 for married students is provided to the students staying outside the campus.
