CG TET Eligibility

CG TET is the secondary level exam conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. The next CG TET notification is expected soon. The candidates who aspire to become teachers in the state of Chhattisgarh must know the eligibility criteria of CG TET.

Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2023

The eligibility criteria for Super TET is based on nationality, age limit and educational qualifications. The qualifications based on nationality, age limit and education are given below.

Age Limit There is no age limitation for the CG TET 2023
Nationality The candidate applying for the CG TET should be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification

For Classes 1 to 5 
  • The candidates should have passed 12th class with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent. 
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation in B.SC/ BA/ B. Ed. degree with at least 50% marks can apply for CG TET 2023. 
  • The students who are appearing in the Final Four Year Bachelor of Elementary Education/a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education can also apply for this exam.
Educational Qualification

For Classes 6 to 8 
  • The candidates should have completed their graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of 2-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) 
  • The candidates should have completed their graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appeared in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ passed or appeared in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • The candidates should have completed their Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and passed/ appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) can also apply for CG TET 2023.
