How to apply for the JPSC examination?
A candidate can apply for the JPSC Combined Civil Services examination online. The JPSC exam is conducted in 3 phases:
- Preliminary
- Mains
- Interview
You need to apply for the prelims exam first. Once you qualify the preliminary round, you have to fill in the JPSC Mains application form.

Steps to be followed while filling in the online application form
| 1. | Go to the official website of JPSC i.e. www. jpsc.gov.in |
| 2. | Go to the important announcements section and click on the JPSC Exam application link, which will be activated after the release of the official notification.
Note: Go through the ‘How to apply’ section on the official website of JPSC before registering or filling in the application form for the exam. |
| 3. | Click on new registration, fill in the required details and complete it. |
| 4. | You will receive the registration number and the password on your registered e-mail id. |
| 5. | Log in using your registration number and password and click on apply now |
| 6. | Fill in the application form correctly and provide only accurate information. Upload the scanned photograph and signature.

| 7. | Pay your application fees online or offline. Ensure that the payment transaction is successful.

| 8. | After successfully paying the examination fees, go to the ‘Download Filled Application Section’ and print the application form for future reference. |
JPSC Application Form: Points to remember
- Ensure that you provide the correct email id and phone number.
- If you have any technical problems while filling in the application form, you can call on the helpline numbers given in the official notification published by JPSC.
- Fill in the online application form and make payment before the last date.
- Ensure that all the information that you provide in your application form is correct. If the Commission finds any discrepancies in your application form at any stage of the examination, your candidature may be cancelled, and your application may be rejected.
