How did Make in India start?

The Make in India was started by the Prime Minister of India in September 2014. It was designed to transform India into a global manufacturing and design hub. The Government of India has taken up a series of measures to radically improve Ease of Doing Business. The total FDI inflow was approximately USD 222.89 billion between April 2014 and March 2018.
