There are 13 major ports in India. 12 are located in 9 coastal states of India namely Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. 1 Major port is located in the union territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
