What are the principles of Human Rights?

Two principles come across as the most important pillars of human rights norm-setting effort in the post-Second World War period. Those are the principles of:

• Equality and
• Non-discrimination. 

The principles appear in the initial articles (Articles 1, 2 and 7) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
